Registration forms now available!
Registration Forms are now available for Pre-school! Click on this "Registration Forms " for the link. You should be able to print these out at home and mail them to "Ms. Jamie's" at the address on the enrollment form. Thanks!!
If you sign up for preschool and refer a friend that registers, you get $20 off your first months tuition for every friend you refer. (up to a $65)

PRESCHOOL Openings 2012/2013
This class offers a variety of hands-on learning experiences with a gradual transition into a more structured setting. Curriculum includes introduction to alphabet sounds and recognition, writing, counting, number recognition, simple addition, scissor practice, sorting, graphing, shapes, and colors. We will experiment with hands-on creative learning through science, cooking, games, music and much more. There will be a maximum of 12 kids in this class.
Upon registration, there is a one time, non-refundable $25 registration fee. This will be used for materials for your child for the year.

Curriculum
Our curriculum features 3 core components:
Life Science skills: Each weekly life science theme, such as Vehicles, Astronomy, Baking, or Ocean, offers fun activities to expand children's knowledge of the world so they can feel confident with their place in it.
Life Skills: Each day the children engage in a lesson with puppets or games, helping them practice vital life skills like Hygiene, Health, Sharing, Time and Safety.
Pre-K Skills: Each activity aims to teach children the critical Pre-K skills needed to succeed in school later on, such as learning to write, understanding simple math, and also knowing their letters, sounds, numbers, shapes and colors among other things.
Phonics
We will be using the well known zoo phonics, with daily letter practice, and daily sound practice.
Math
Shape recognition , Counting , Patterning, Graphing, Estimation, Money, Time,
Number recognition, and sorting.
Reading
Exploration through books, individual reading, teacher readings, puppets and acting out stories
Fine Motor skills
Learn how to cut, tear, glue, scissors
Gross Motor skills
outdoor play, teacher directed activities (tossing, balancing games etc.)
We will also be learning through cooking, art, science and music.
